This game is totally physics based which makes this game much harder than Tower Bloxx. Great graphics and music.
By the way, how do you make this game pixel perfect? I noticed that blocks’ black lines are always pixelated. Is there any trick?
Ah finally, someone who know tower bloxx ! The flood and the different block shapes and their center of mass also pump up the difficulty a bit.
BUT, Normally the game should be even harder than that... cause I had to "froze" all the blocks that are not rendered on the screen, cause it is normally impossible for anyone to build a tower that high without collapsing it ! It would have been frustrating for the player, the game is way more fun like that and and it contributes to the optimization cause I delete the blocks after a certain time...
The game is render in 800x450 px with no linear sampling, and all the black outlines are 2px wide NOT 1 px wide thats what make this aliasing effect while preserving the texture details ; )
PS: oh and the objects are always drawn at "integer position", thats mean objects cant be drawn between pixel
Merci, ouais j'ai pas mal bossé sur le sound design, c'est un jeu qui a pas beaucoup a offrir alors il se devait d'être un minimum soigné. J'ai fait en sorte que chaque actions du joueur ai un feedback visuel et audio adapté.
Probably the best browser game I've played in a while, very simple, very polished, really addictive, I can't believe it was made in three days, fantastic work.

Dude this was absolutely amazing. Had a blast
hey! how did you make that water effect?
Let me introduce you to the fantastic world of WebGL shaders : https://www.shadertoy.com/view/mtyGWy
If you use the Construct engine, some effects are already built in the engine, but If you use something else I can't help you.
I just put that here...

Thank you. Yes I made it in 3 days... but 3 days with more cafeine than blood in the veins.
